Discovering Myself One Story at a Time

Life isn't always sunshine and butterflies.

It can be a dumpster fire, a rainbow at sunset, and an hysterical outburst of laughter around the family dinner table all at the same time.

I learned the hard way that we are not alone in our life journeys and we can learn from one another’s experiences.

I don’t have all the answers, but I’m here to start a conversation...and to share the experiences and resources that have helped me.

About

Who is Jen Saraceno?

I am…

--a military officer

--former congressional staffer

--a writer

--a lover of art

--an intermittent athlete

--someone who is not afraid to break it down on the sidewalk if ‘Yoncé drops a beat

--an empath who sometimes loses herself in other people’s problems

--and…a person who burned herself out spending years trying to be “all the things” she thought she needed to be, personally and professionally, in two high-speed careers

I am all of that…rumbling with my own vulnerability, understanding what makes me tick, uncovering things that are messy and discovering things in that mess that are truly amazing….embracing all that I am.  Working to show up authentically in all I do

I started chronicling my life experiences a few years ago, sharing my stories with my small community.  I recently realized that my stories, my lessons learned, may help others

So I am sharing them with you
